Teacher Connect > Gradebook: Setup (Other Measures)

There are two options to setup Daily Score:

1. Daily Score Values Manually Entered in the Gradebook Setup Screen
2. Daily Score Values Pushed down to gradebooks from building level gradebook Template

Manually Enter Daily Score Values

1. Open Teacher Connect Gradebook
   
2. Click the Setup button
   

1. Select Include to include the daily score average into the student's marking period average
   
2. Select Display to display the Daily Score category in the gradebook
   
3. Measure - Default points for each individual Attendance Status
   
1. Present = < Max Points  (i.e. 10 points)
   
2. Attendance Statuses (AE, AU, A*, TE, TU, T*)
   
1. Enter a 0 (Zero) when using the daily score script to update the daily score from a zero to anther value based on the attendance reason.
   
2. Enter numeric values for each attendance status so as the teacher select the status the daily score fills in based on the setup screen.
   
4. Enter a numeric value as a Daily Score Weight - Gradebook categories and the daily score weight should add up to 100%.
   
5. Enter a Max Point (possible points) typically equals the Present Value
   
6. Click Save
   

Daily score values must be setup for each course, and each marking period.

Contact the CSIU to update Daily Score values based on student attendance reasons

Automation of daily score updates requires gradebook default values for Other Statuses AE, AU, A*, TE, TU, T* to be set to zero (0).
