SmartSub: How Substitutes Accept the SmartSub Invitation
Locate the Invitation Email
- Open your email.
- Look for a message with the subject: SmartSub User Invitation.
Open the Invitation
- Click View Invitation in the email.
- This opens the SmartSub login page.
Register (Required Before Login)
Enter:
- First Name
- Last Name
- Email
- Password (must meet requirements)
- Confirm Password
- Click Register.
Choose Assignment Preferences
- After registration, SmartSub displays assignment categories.
- Select preferred categories.
- Click Accept.
Verify Email
- You will receive another email.
- Go back to your email and click the verification link.
No action is required on the SmartSub screen for this step.
Opt In
- After clicking the verification link, the opt-in screen displays.
- Check the required boxes.
- Click Save.
Verify/Add Notification Methods
- You will be prompted to verify contact methods.
- Add a cell phone number for text alerts.
- Receive verification code.
- Enter code.
- Select Opt In.
- (Optional) Mark as preferred.
- Click Save.
You may also update:
- Birth Date
- Last 4 digits of SSN
- Additional assignment category preference
