SIS: Transfer MPA grade to New Class/Section

The Drop/Add/Merge procedure moves only POSTED Marking Period grades and CTC Task Grades (if POS is the same).

If a student moves to a new class/section mid marking period, you may want to move the running Marking Period Average to the new class/section.
To do so, follow the steps below.
  1. Take note of the student's MPA in the dropped class.
  2. Create an assignment in the newly added class/section using a descriptive name (i.e. T. Lawson's Transferred Grade).
  3. Choose the most relevant category, use 100 possible points, and Exclude ALL other students in the class.
  4. Place the transferred student's MPA from the dropped class in the grade cell of the new assignment.
                          

Notes
This assignment will not show on reports for the excluded students.
