Overview

The Teacher Connect® Learning Standards interface allows teachers to enter Marking Period grades for the Grading Standards defined on the Standards Based Template associated to the class.

Teachers can use the Learning Standards interface without the Gradebook, and manually enter grades for each Grading Standard, similar to the process of entering ERC grades. However, when teachers associate Learning Standards to Gradebook assignments, this interface will automatically calculate grades for each Grading Standard which has defined Grading Rules.

During the Grade Entry period for Progress Reports and Marking Periods, teachers will use the Learning Standards interface to Post grades and enter comments. Teachers not using the Gradebook will manually enter all grades. Teachers with calculated Grading Standard grades from the Gradebook can override the calculated grades, if desired.
