SIS: MPA, PFA, CMPA Definitions

Teacher Connect > Gradebook - There are three possible columns displaying averaged grades in a teacher gradebook.
MPA- The Marking Period Average is the running average within a marking period that immediately updates with grade additions and/or grade edits.

CMPA- The Cumulative Marking Period Average is an average of any existing posted marking period final grades. In the first marking period the CMPA will be the same as the MP1 posted grade.

PFA- The Projected Final Average is an average that includes the above two; all posted grades plus the current running average.

A teacher can choose whether or not to display these columns in the settings tool of the gradebook.
