SCScan – Batch Manager


New Batch

Use the New Batch to build a batch of documents directly from a scanner.

Verify the scanner is connected, and on.

Open SCScan

In SCScan, go to Batch Manager > New Batch


Client – Verify the district database name displays.

Batch Name­ – Create a batch name.

Save to create the batch.

If the scanner does not display in the Scanner field, select the connected scanner.

Confirm the correct scanner is selected and OK.


Load documents into the scanner. If indexing multiple documents, use a Separator Page between each individual document.


Verify Separators is enabled and Scan.


Select New Folder


Cancel to close scan dialog box.


Close Batch to save the batch or Index to proceed indexing documents.


If Close Batch is selected, select Yes to close the batch.


Import Batch

Use the Import Batch to build a batch of existing documents from the file explorer.

Open SCScan

In SCScan, go to Batch Manager > Import Batch



  1. Browse to open File Explorer.
  2. Search for and select the files to be indexed.
  3. Open



Client – Verify the district database name displays.

Batch Name­ – Create a batch name.

Import to create the batch.


Click OK to verify the import is complete.


Batches

Open - To open an existing batch, either select the batch and Open or double-click on the batch.

Delete - To delete a batch, select the batch and Delete.

Cancel – To close the batch manager window without processing.
