Q: Is there a report that compare revenue and expenses to budget?
A: Not yet. We are going to update some of these charts to include budget amounts as well.
Q: Can you save the report once created to re-run throughout the year?
A: The Report Writer is more of an on the fly report. There is another section where you can set up, save and generate reports when you want.
Q: Is there a report that you can run that contains multiple accounting years for grant expenses that may hit multiple years?
A: At this time no. The dashboard is meant to give you a snapshot of your current cash position for the current fiscal year. There are some areas where you can toggle between the current year and the previous, though. This may end up being a future enhancement.
Q: If I am using the budgeting in FIS does the information placed in there, transfer over to the revenue forecast?
A: Yes, we want to include Budget (prior year and current year) information in the 5-year forecast area. This should be available by July.
Q: Could you add bar charts to that report-Revenue and Expenses?
A: The programmers are currently working on adding additional charts and graphs to various parts of the dashboard.
Q: On the revenues, can state be listed prior to federal following the chart of accounts?
A: Yes, we can update the order.
Q: We provide a Treasurer's Report to our Board--I think it was the dashboard report--is there an option to have all the accounts listed out rather than do 10 accounts?
A: We will request this enhancement.
Q: Will there be an additional cost to this Financial Dashboard?
A: If you are not a ramp up client, your renewal for the 23-24 school year already has the cost of the financial dashboard included.
If you are a ramp up client, the financial dashboard is $600.00 plus your current ramp up pricing; however, we have or will contact you to see if you would like to include the dashboard with the additional pricing.
Q: When is this available?
A: We are planning a July release.
Q: Can reports be scheduled or must it be done manually?
A: By July, we should have the ability to schedule emails so reports are automatically sent to staff.
