Issues Uploading Clearances

Clearances sometimes have Adobe PDF security settings on them, which may prevent the clearance from being uploaded into the SCView system. If you are having problems uploading your clearance, please try the following steps to strip out the Adobe Security settings. 

PC (Microsoft)

1. Open your PDF. 
2. Click the printer icon. 


3. Select the Microsoft Print to PDF option. 


4. Click the Print button. 
5. Save the new document to a location on your PC and then try the upload again. 

Mac (Apple)

1. Open your PDF using the Preview App. 


2. Select File and Print. 

3. Select PDF option at the bottom. 
4. Select Save as PDF. 


5. Click Print. 
6. Save the new document to a location on your computer and then try the upload again.
