Adding a New User

Go to Admin > Users


Add



Complete the necessary fields. (R) - indicates a required field.

User ID (R)– if using Single Sign On enter the users email address

Auth Type - if using Single Sign On (Microsoft or Google)

Homescreen – Dashboard is a popular choice

First Name (R) – First Name

Last Name (R) – Last Name

Password/Confirm Password (R) – a password is required even if using Single Sign On

Force Change Pass. – un-check if using Single Sign On

Active – Select to make the user account active.

Email Address (R) – enter the user email address

Features – select the needed SCView features:

  1. Allow Admin – gives user access to the Admin tab 
  2. Allow Import – gives user access to add files 
  3. Workflow – allows user to access the Workflow tab 
  4. Enable eSigning – grants access to the eSign module
  5. Notifications, Requests, Student Reg, Forms Campaigns and Manage Contacts – are not necessary for PA SCView users at this time

Department – add a Supervisor if utilizing the Mileage module


Save- to save changes.



To assign additional permission, select and double-click the user from the list or select Edit.



Permissions can be added by assigning the user to a group.

Select the Groups tab and select a group.



Or, go to Doc Types to add user specific document type permissions.


Search - grants user permission to Search for this document type on the Search tab
View - allows user to view this document type within the SCView system 
Printallows user to print this document type from within the SCView system 
Emailallows user to email this document type from within the SCView system 
Editallows user to edit existing documents of this document type
Createallows user to complete forms of this document type 
Append - allows user to append pages to an existing document of this document type
Annotateallows user to annotate existing documents of this document type
Delete - allows user to delete existing documents of this document type from the SCView system
Unrestritced - allows user to view all documents of this document type and not just documents or forms the user originally added or created

Go to the FIS tab to assign user specific purchasing permissions and Save to save changes.
