Create Score Indicator Colors in Gradebook

Score Indicators allow you to display colors for assignment scores, Marking Period Averages (MPA), and Predicted Final Averages (PFA).

Teacher Connect > Gradebook: Settings

Steps

1. Open Gradebook.

2. Click Settings.

3. In the Score Indicator section, select one of the following:

   • Raw Score – Use when all assignments are worth 100 points.

   • Percentage – Use when assignments have different point values (recommended).

4. Choose a color.

5. Enter the starting grade in the >= Grade field.

6. Enter the ending grade in the < Grade field.

7. Enter the text you want displayed in the Display field.

8. Repeat these steps for additional score ranges as needed.

9. Select Blank Grade if you want a color indicator for grades that do not have a numeric value.

Note: Percentage is the recommended setting when assignments use different possible point values.
